Hello Readers!
Yes, it is true, I have been diligently working this past month on worldbuilding for a brand new 4-book quartet called Son of River. Patrons are getting to see all of the behind-the-scenes work I've done thus far (character sheets, location sheets, creature creation, outlines, and more!) and soon they'll receive weekly vomit draft chapters! If you'd like to see what I've been up to, head over here, but be warned, the information is only visible to patrons at any tier level.
I'm glad I'm taking the time (three months) to really flesh out the story and I'm not rushing into writing book one, chapter one like I have in the past. And if it all works out, this may be a pace I continue to use moving forward. In the meantime, I'm going to try and make an effort to share more screen captures of my progress as I go so follow me on Twitter or Instagram for notable updates:
I'm really excited to get started on this first book, River Run that I'm hoping to have a completed vomit draft on June 30th. Once I get started writing chapters, this month, I'll have a better idea of my timeline and my goal for actual release on Amazon some time in 2022. Again, the name of the game here is patience and taking my time with the story and not rushing myself. In May I'm going to work on creating a workable and usable map for the world I'll be working in with this series. Patrons will see my process and final results.
