Dear Readers,
tl;dr - The podcast is back and the Season I book collection is coming soon! (must keep reading for links)
In 2019 I discovered the LeVar Burton Reads Podcast. This got me to thinking, “if he can do it, why can’t I?” Of course, he’s LeVar Burton of Reading Rainbow fame. Me? I’m just doing it cause I enjoy reading my work out loud. It’s great for editing purposes if nothing else.
If you want to hear my very first year of Friday Fiction you can listen here.
In the meantime, I have already released three Friday Fiction 2.0 episodes. And you can count on one every Friday from now until mid-July. That’s 14 stories for your listening pleasure. You’ll notice that these 14 stories all come from what I wrote at the end of 2021. This will hopefully become a usual process for me. I’ll write 16 stories at the end of the year and the following year I’ll read and release them all as individual podcast episodes!

REMINDER: First Edition emails are exclusive to you. And as such there might be occasions where I have something to share that everyone else will find out much later (if at all).
WHAT YOU MISSED
EXCLUSIVE! EXCLUSIVE!
Near the end of this year I’ll be releasing Season I of my Friday Fiction stories for anyone who’d like to support my work, on Amazon. Hardcover, Paperback, and e-book will be available. I’ll share more about how you can get your hands on a signed copy. An offer I will only be making here. This collection will include the 14 Friday Fiction stories I wrote in 2021, including the short story I wrote for the LeVar Burton Reads contest last year that did not place. 30k words in one collection and I’m excited for the process of not only reading all of them for my podcast but designing the cover for the book this summer! All of which I’ll let you get a first peek at along the way.
WORTH THE WATCH
Every now and then I find myself in a place in my writing where I need assistance with a certain part. In this case, I’m looking for tips on naming characters and I knew exactly where to go for some help. It’s 6 years old but the best videos are the kind you can return to time and time again when needed.
