Some people called it growing up, but Wendy didn’t think so. Sure, the flights had commercialized, and now you could order dinner and sleep on the way, but that didn’t really change the magic. Did it?

The idea wasn’t new. Thousands of beautiful places made their living as tourist attractions. It was just another pretty beach and seductive sunset, sprinkled with adventure on the high seas. The only real difference was, the mermaids weren’t just normal people in costumes.

The stewardess stepped through the door, a bright smile on her young face. “Welcome to Neverland Airlines, where anyone can fly.”
