📍 The Navigator
I’ve written and sent over 1,000 emails! They cover so much of my writing journey for the past 3 years and beyond, where I share my love of storytelling and teaching others (who are curious to know) how I go about doing what I do. But with this many emails sent, I feel it’s important to help you dissect them all, find what you may be interested in reading, and guide you to it without delay.
I’m going to start by sharing my FICTION but if you’re more interested in my NON-FICTION work, click below to jump to the section you’re looking for:

Here is how I organize my Substack using Sections and Tags, which I think you’ll be interested in clicking through, and why.
FICTION
Let me make one thing absolutely clear; I write horror. That is my favorite genre of choice and I can guarantee that whether I’m writing mystery or fantasy (two genres I like to write as well) they will always be rooted deeply in horror. So, if you’re looking for happy endings, I’m afraid my stories won’t be to your liking.
100 Word Stories
On May 1st, 2023 I wrote a 100 word story. And for reasons I still don’t quite know, I never stopped. And with 500+ consecutive days under by belt I am The Queen of 100 Word Stories.
Stories #1 - 500 are for Paid Subscribers Only, or you can buy my books on Amazon. Stories #501 - Present are Free-for-All.
Access to the Archives can be found below:
The First 100 / The Second 100 / The Third 100 / The Fourth 100 / The Fifth 100 / The Sixth 100 / The Seventh 100
Short Stories
All stories that are sent in one email are partially free-for-all and the rest is behind a paywall. If the story requires multiple parts to share then Part 1 is free-for-all and the other parts are for paid subscribers only.
Currently, there are two short story collections planned for publication in 2025-2026.
Serial Universe
I’m constantly creating worlds that require far more than just a short story or even one novel to tell. Here is a record of each universe that I’m sharing here as serials throughout the year.
NON-FICTION
News and Updates // On the 1st of every month I send a brief update on what I’ve been working on and what I’ve got coming up soon.
Notes from a Writer // My thoughts on writing fiction. This isn’t on a set schedule and comes up whenever I have something to say.
Killer Series // A series of posts specifically about using various fiction writing tools. This can involve creating a newsletter, using Scrivener, or mastering Substack.
Murder Pen Society // A secret society for lovers of horror and mystery fiction both short and novel length. Every now and then I’ll read a classic story and turn it into a book club read for us to read and discuss together.
Stardate // I am a Trekkie through and through! I am on a slow journey to watch every single episode from the canon of shows, including the movies and then reviewing each and every one. This is where I’m keeping my log of reviews.
Notes from a Gamer // Being born in the 80s means I was lucky enough to be around to play Nintendo and I’m still playing those games to this day. Every now and then I may feel compelled to review a game or one of their Directs.
